It’s Mars for Dames

DWAYNE MARS was the hero of the night for Notre Dame as his third goal in two games fired the Dames into the semi-finals of the Stag Champions Cup.

Mars’ late strike was all that separated Notre Dame from a determined Barbados Defence Force (BDF), who would have been bitterly disappointed to go down 1-0 after squandering a couple of golden opportunities in a quarter-final at the Wildey Astroturf on Saturday night.

In an other final eight encounter, Barbados Soccer Academy continued their storied run and stormed into the semi-finals with a commanding 4-2 win over Blackspurs.

Tre Hinds opened the scoring for Barbados Soccer Academy as early as the 13th minute, setting his side on the way with a quick lead. (ML)
