Leadpipe and Saddis give up reserve position
LEADPIPE AND SADDIS, reserves in the Party Monarch semis, have conceded the position.
Manager Ingrid Holder told Nation online exclusively that the duo has decided to not compete and will focus on their Crop Over season and overseas commitments.
“They decided yesterday after some discussion. I have already notified the National Cultural Foundation of the decision,” she said.
The NCF will have to replace the reserves with the next highest tabulated artist after Leadpipe and Saddis.
Adisa Andwele, NCF event producer, has asked the 32 semi-finalists to bring their lyrics, stems and music to the NCF on Wednesday.
Rehearsals for the semis start on Thursday. The semis will be held at Kensington Oval under the banner of Phenomenal Friday. (NS)
