Gunned down in St Stephen’s

YET ANOTHER BARBADIAN has died as a result of gun violence.

The latest victim, the 12th for the year, is Jerome O’neal Bovell, said to be in his early 40s. He was shot at Goddings Road, St Stephen’s Hill, Black Rock, St Michael, yesterday.

Older residents of St Stephen’s Hill and those who frequent the nearby 8 Ball Bar were yesterday lamenting the spate of violence in the nation after the shooting, which occurred around 3:40 p.m.

They said the shooting took them by surprise. (LK)
