THE SUPER TEAM is ready for the postseason.

They weren’t sharp, but Urban Vybz St John’s Sonics did just enough to get past Hawks 77-69 in their last regular season game of the Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League on Wednesday night at the Barbados Community College.

It served as nothing more than a light walk-through ahead of Sonics’ highly anticipated first-round matchup against the idle Lumber Company Lakers this weekend.

The game proved meaningless as Sonics were already locked into the play-off series with Lakers while Hawks were certain to be demoted regardless of the result. (JM)
