BARBADIANS are in a mood of economic pessimism.
This conclusion is based on responses to economic questions that were part of the June NATION/CADRES poll, which is presented this week.
Because the economy has been on the lips of most citizens, there was a need for a specific economic focus in the poll.
This week’s CADRES report tells a story of 71 per cent Barbadian gloom over the economy. And 62 per cent are either convinced that Government’s programme to fix the economy is not working, or worse, that no programme exists. (ES)
