Police say Acheson and Hermiz arrived on the island from Canada on Sunday.

A search of their luggage by customs officers revealed that both men were carrying sealed packages on cannabis in false bottoms of their suitcases.

Acheson was carrying 26 sealed packages weighing 13.5 pounds with an estimated street value of street value of $48 800.

Hermiz was in possession 24 packages weighing ten pounds with an estimated street value of  $40 000.
