Rocky ride

WHEN THE NEW executive of the Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding Fitness Federation (BABBFF) led by Manasseh King, came to office a few months they expected a rough ride.

It is proving to be a roller-coaster journey.

The season opening Mr Bridgetown Championships barely got a passing grade, while last weekend’s St Michael Classic fell way below expectations.

The advent of Shakira Doughlin and Hadley Hoyte and the return of Martinus Durrant were not nearly enough to whet the appetite of the few fans that were around at the Lester Vaughan School on Saturday night. (MK)
