PUMP THE BRAKES on that Pinelands-Lakers rematch.

These series are going the distance.

Station Hill Cavaliers and Urban Vybz St John’s Sonics are still alive, having forced tonight’s decisive Game 3s in the Co-operators General Insurance Premier League basketball playoffs via series-saving wins on Thursday at the Barbados Community College.

Facing elimination, the Cavs survived a late fourth-quarter rally to hold off defending champs Orange 3 Pinelands 74-65 before Sonics clawed their way out of another half-time hole in an 85-75 victory over Lumber Company Lakers. (JM)
