BARBADOS and West Indies cricketer Dwayne Smith and his Zulu International Crop Over Festival band, played a different innings on Thursday.

They donated multiple sets of cricket equipment such as cricket balls, pads, bats, helmets, batting gloves and wicket-keeping gear to Herman Griffith Primary Schools’ cricket champions, Bayley’s.

Smith, who is a director of Zulu International and owner of the D.R. Sports shop at Sheraton, was on hand to make the presentation and also speak to the students during morning assembly at the St Philip school.

He said being a part of a Crop Over band was a new thing for him. (EZS)
