REAL TALK ABOUT REAL ISSUES made the Crop Over Read-IN! really good.

The event throws the spotlight on the literary arts and gives the audience a first-hand listen to the artistes’ thoughts and feelings on issues such as gender, patriotism, love, ZR blues, respect, violence, water woes and leadership. It was both entertaining and enlightening.

Based on the applause, cheers, high level of participation and lots of laughter, the audience enjoyed themselves immensely.

From award-winning poet, playwright and author Winston ‘I’ Farrell, to the hard-hitting trio Iron Pipe, this year’s edition, hosted by Jherad Lord Zenn Alleyne, was Real Talk. (GBM)
