A DISCREPANCY related to the age of one of the selected players for the national Under-15 cricket team has been spotted, avoiding what could have resulted in massive embarrassment for host country Barbados.

Investigations by WEEKENDSPORT reveal that Kobe Hoyte of the Grantley Adams Memorial School has been withdrawn from the 14-member squad originally selected for the 50-over One-Day tournament, which runs from July 26 to August 4.
