BUSINESS PEOPLE operating in the Black Rock area where Colleen Payne was murdered on Monday night are uneasy and calling for better lighting.

The area houses a number of establishments which are popular night spots, ranging from fast-food operations to a popular bar and a service station.

Payne, 58, was shot and killed by two assailants around 9 p.m. after using an automated teller machine (ATM) at the Royal Bank of Canada on University Drive. Police have launched a manhunt for the murderers.

Her death had people uneasy yesterday throughout the business community in the area. (TG)
