TWO TEENAGERS from Brittons Hill, St Michael, appeared yesterday in court in connection with the robbery last month of a church elder on the premises of the house of worship.

Khalil Lavaar Hurley, 18, of Scotts Gap, Brittons Hill, and Ranaco Fabico Richard Bovell, 16, of Villa Road, are accused of robbing Frederick Powlett of a bicycle, bag, laptop, a pair of sunglasses, two flash drives, two cellphones, one ring, one wallet, $10 in cash, an identification card and one driver’s licence; totalling $2 865.

They were not required to plead to the charge.

Powlett, who said he was one of the senior members of the Rhema Apostolic Deliverance Ministries International, spoke to the NATION newspaper on June 3 about the alleged incident. (TKS)
