THE MUSIC WAS “back in time” and the recollections hilarious at the surprise party for Nation senior graphics artist Radcliffe Chase who retired last week after more than two decades of working with the Nation Publishing Company.

Chase’s colleagues from the Advertising Department as well as his boss, Group Head of Advertising Paulette Jones, and Nation Group Chief Executive Officer Anthony Shaw, joined past and present members of staff and other guests, some from the cricketing world, such as Conde Riley, for the farewell party hosted in the Nation’s Annex.

Margaret Chase laughed heartily as she listened to her husband’s work colleagues telling hilarious stories about their encounters with him. Chase himself was overjoyed when his son, West Indies cricketer Roston Chase, turned up to join the rest of the family, which included his brother Ramal and two of Chase’s sisters, Rosalind and Sandra.
