Hope wants united front

THE NEW No. 2 man at the Barbados Cricket Association’s (BCA) wants to see a united board going forward.

Calvin Hope, who was elected as vice president as part of a reduced board of directors last Thursday night, is looking forward to working with his colleagues in an effort to push Barbados and West Indies cricket to higher heights.

“Our immediate thing and for the future of the organisation is to build a cohesive board not focusing on any one person but respecting each other, respecting the positions that we have been elected to and delivering to the membership,” Hope told NATIONSPORT.

“After all of it, the comments I have been hearing from members is that they expect us to deliver. We must respect our membership.” (HG)
