Registration open for Arbor Day exhibitors

PERSONS WHO HAVE a passion for the environment, or who may have a product or service that comes from trees or is environmentally friendly, are being encouraged to sign up for this year’s Environmental Arbor Expo and Farmers’ Market.

Interested persons are asked to complete and submit their applications to the National Conservation Commission’s (NCC) headquarters at Codrington, St Michael, on or before Monday, August 28.

Alternatively, they may contact the NCC’s PR/Marketing Department at 425-1200/1202/1212. Potential exhibitors may also visit the NCC’s website http://www.nccbarbados.gov.bb to download the registration form, which should be submitted to the NCC.

This year’s Arbor Day Expo and Farmers’ Market comes off on Friday, September 22, and Saturday, September 23. It will be held at the NCC’s headquarters under the theme: Trees: The Circle of Life, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Arbor Day in Barbados. (BGIS)
