PRO SHOTTAS WILL only get two bites at the cherry heading into the finals of the National Youth Cup.

The champion team secured a victory in the Under-9 division after defeating Kickstart 3-2, and will face Brittons Hill, who thwarted Paradise 6-1, in the first championship play off at Barclays today.

In the Under-11 division, Kick Start defeated Pro Shottas (3-2) and will encounter Paradise in the final matchup. Paradise triumphed over West Coast 2-0 on penalties for bragging rights at the same venue.

Over at the Wildey AstroTurf tomorrow, the Under-13 division will see NSC Blenheim Ballers kick off against Gall Hill in the first game of the day. Gall Hill defeated Brittons Hill 3-0 in their semi-final matchup, while Sports Council beat Pro Shottas 2-1.

Mavericks will go up against Whitehall in the second encounter of the day. Both teams had an impressive knock in their semi-final matchup. Whitehall demolished Wildey 10-0, while Mavericks stole the chance at the championship after defeating Pro Shottas 5-1 in the Under-15 division.

The Under-17 division will see Pro Shottas and Kickstart face off against each other in the final matchup of the day. In the semi-final playoff yesterday at the AstroTurf, Kickstart defeated St Andrew Lions 5-0, while Pro Shottas duplicated the score against Gall Hill. (RA)
