Champions three Pro Shottas, NSC, Whitehall prevail

WHITEHALL FOOTBALL ACADEMY, NSC Blenheim Ballers and Pro Shottas are the senior champions of the inaugural Barbados Football Association’s (BFA) National Youth Cup.

Leading off the day’s play at the BFA’s Wildey AstroTurf yesterday, Blenheim Ballers whipped Gall Hill 5-1 in the Under-13 Division.

Coach Kenville Layne said the team, which is barely a year old, showed progress.

“We started very slow in the preliminary rounds, drawing a couple games and just barely getting through. I think we peaked at the right time.” (RA)
