JACOB BETHELL WALKED away with three awards during the closing ceremony of the Cricket West Indies Under-15 Tournament at Cricket Legends on Friday night.
He was a part of the Barbados team that secured their fourth title since the tournament began in 1997, dethroning Trinidad and Tobago after achieving four wins in their five matches.
The promising Bethell, a Harrison College student, was named the Most Valuable Player after turning in a commendable all-round performance throughout the competition.
Bethell also took the Most Runs Award, having scored 140 runs during the tournament, as well as the award for the Highest Individual Score – 100, against Jamaica. (RG)
