THE REPUBLIC BANK Grand Kadooment was marred by several violent incidents.

Police preliminary reports say a 37-year-old man was stabbed in the neck while a 30-year-old man was shot in the hip.

These occurred around 1 p.m. along Waterford, St Michael, and were thought to have caused a major delay in the proceedings.

The Nation has also received reports of another incident on Spring Garden Highway and more details will come as they are available.

There was also a Facebook post where a woman said she had parked a relative’s car near Green Hill, St Michael, to go and participate in the festivities but upon her return, saw one of the car’s rims and tyres had been stolen. (CA)
