Arawak going solar
ARAWAK CEMENT COMPANY may soon have its own solar plant.
General manager Manuel Toro told the SUNDAY SUN that the company had written Senator Darcy Boyce, the minister responsible for energy, informing him of its intention to set up a solar energy generation plant.

“Our intention is to supply at least 25 per cent of our operations here from solar power,” he said. (MB)
