DON’T BLAME THE people in Gall Hill for the gun violence in that Christ Church neighbourhood.

This was the cry from a number of residents yesterday as that community was the scene of the island’s 24th murder and the second in the space of 24 hours.

Dead is Shawn Omar Taylor, 37, of Lodge Road, Christ Church, who was gunned down at a house in Mullion Road, Gall Hill, on Monday night.

This latest killing, which came on the heels of one in Cane Vale that left Orwin Corwin Moore dead, has prompted the top brass of the Southern Division to schedule a door-to-door walk-through of the Gall Hill and Cane Vale neighbourhoods today at 5 p.m. It will be hosted by the Divisional Commander and senior administration of the Southern Division.
