Tears for two

RENALDO “CONAN” GITTENS, 23, and 21-year-old Rico “Sad Boy” Burgess had an almost daily ritual that took them to the sea and to the block.

But on Tuesday night, neither of them made the short distance back to their East Point, St Philip homes from their customary lime in Marley Vale.

Police reported that the shooting incident occurred sometime around 7:49 p.m. when a number of loud explosions scattered a group of people who were liming. When it was over, the two men were found motionless on the ground.

They were the latest victims of gun violence that has plagued several communities and sent shock waves through the country. (YB)
