MARK GRIFFITH AND Stephen Skinner won the Balwin Scantlebury Men’s Doubles and Maureen Shepherd and Thelma Alleyne took the Ann Clarke Ladies Doubles when the Barbados Darts Association’s classified events started last Friday night at the Parkinson Memorial School.

Griffith and Skinner, who represented Norlink Eden Flighters capitalised on a number of missed doubles by A&T Enforcers Clyde Murrell and Victor Gibbs to triumph 2-0 in the final.

Veteran Shepherd and Alleyne triumphed 2-1 over A&T Enforcers’ Elouise Martin and Jennifer Clarke-Murrell in an exciting women’s final.

Martin started impressively, hitting big scores of 140 and 135 as she and Clarke-Murrell took the first leg in 26 darts from Shepherd and Alleyne of Digicel Signals. (EZS/PR)
