DESIGN FLAWS IN a number of roads across the island are leading to unnecessary traffic congestion and accidents.
According to accident investigator and reconstructionist Mark Sargeant, these situations can be avoided if the flaws are rectified.
Sargeant took a SUNDAY SUN team on a road tour from the BET Hill junction of the ABC Highway to Westmoreland, St James where he outlined some issues in the road design which were contributing to the problems confronting motorists on a daily basis.
Starting at BET, the investigator sees a major design flaw with the junction which motorists encounter coming down the hill. (MB)
