AUBURN – Reigning Emerald Downs champion Rocco Bowen let it rip at the Pacific Northwest United States racetrack on Saturday, bagging an astonishing five wins on the nine-race programme to underline his total dominance once again this season.

The 28-year-old, who will capture his second successive title here when the season climaxes on Sunday, proved virtually unstoppable as he made all the headlines on the day’s card to stretch his already massive lead.

He scored with 2-5 chance Kodianne in race one over a mile, followed up in race three over 6-1/2 furlongs with favourite Carr Creek, won race four over six furlongs with 2-1 bet Dynamo Dixie before taking race five over 6-1/2 furlongs with 8-1 choice My Endless Love.

Bowen capped off a breathless outing by winning race seven aboard favourite Wine At Nine, in a mile trip. (CMC)
