Mangrove crash leaves two nursing injuries

Two people were injured this morning when their vehicles collided along Mangrove Road, St Philip at its junction with Mangrove Park.

The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m.

One car driven by 27-year-old Rohan Mayers of Sayes Court, Christ Church, while the other was driven by 52-year-old Roseclair Blades of St Martins, St Philip.

Mayers received bruises to his right foot and hip, and a laceration over his eye while Blades complained of pain to her chest and abdomen.

Blades was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance while Mayers opted to seek private medical attention.

Two fire tenders and seven fire officers under the command of Leading Fire Officer Elvis Haynes responded to the scene. (PR/NB)
