WARRIORS Sports Club subjected Central Bank to an embarrassing defeat when they secured their second victory in the Ulric Sealy Zone of this year’s Barbados Workers’ Union Netball Tournament on Wednesday night.

Piloted by exceptional performances from goal shooter Kianna James who shot 18 of 25 attempts and goal attack Tiana Catlyn who scored 17 of 23 attempts, they recorded a 40-15 victory at the Netball Stadium.

The Warriors took the lead early in the battle and were ahead by six goals after the first quarter.

By half-time, they improved on that performance, outscoring Central Bank who stood behind 16-8. (RG)
