Rawdon’s back as chief of Bitt Inc.
Rawdon Adams, son of Barbados’ second Prime Minister Tom Adams, has returned to the island to head the financial technology company Bitt Inc. as chief executive officer.
Announcing the appointment Friday, Bitt chairman Peter George said the company “is ready to rescue the region from the constraints of traditional business and banking and Rawdon has the full confidence of the board, Bitt’s investors and Bitt’s team, to take us there”.
Bitt Inc. is a Barbados-based Fintech start-up founded by partners Gabriel Abed and Oliver Gale, who will continue to serve on Bitt’s board of directors.
“Bitt, Barbados and Barbadians alike look forward to welcoming this son of the soil back to our shores. We are honoured to continuously attract top talent,” Abed said. (GC)
