Showdown for semis spots

The battle for semi-final places in the Barbados Amateur Basketball Association’s Men’s Division 1 play-offs takes place tonight at the Clapham courts.

Patriots and Barbados Lumber Company Lakers forced a decisive Game 3 in their quarter-final series with contrasting victories on Saturday night.

Patriots defeated Barbados Hilton Resort Warriors 65-55 in Game 2 at the Barbados Community College to set up tonight’s 6:30 p.m. showdown.

Julian Walcott led the way for Patriots with 17 points while Damien Gaskin contributed 11 points. Shawn Ifill, Cheyne Freeman and Jehnard Brewster all supported with 11 points. (EZS)
