Late night shooting in Silver Hill leaves man in critical condition
A 34 year old man is in critical condition after a shooting late on Friday night in Silver Hill, Christ Church which injured two others.
Police report that they are conducting investigations into the shooting incident which occurred sometime around 11:35 pm, on Friday the 20th of October 2017.
During this incident, a 34-year-old man whose name is being withheld, and two females, ages 21 and 29 years old respectively received gunshot injuries.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the three victims were in the area sitting and liming with other persons, when suddenly several gunshots were heard coming from the opposite side of the road. As a result, the man received a gunshot to the head, whilst the 21 year-old female was shot in her right knee, and the 29 year old female was grazed by a bullet in her chin.
The man and the 21 year old female were taken to the QEH by ambulance for medical attention, whilst the 29 year old female opted to seek private medical attention.
The condition of the man is listed as critical.
