Police seize over 2 000 cannabis plants

On Friday October 20, and Saturday October 21, members of the Drug Squad, assisted by members of the Tactical Response Unit (TRU) conducted illegal drug eradication operations in several St John communities.

A total 2 261 cannabis plants ranging from 3feet to 4 feet in height were seized.

The areas were Henley ­– 1 050 plants; Cherry Grove ­– 429 plants; Bowmanston ­– 531 plants; Pool Land ­– 189 plants; and Malvern ­– 62 plants.

No arrests were made. (PR)
