Traffic changes for lighting ceremony

Members of the public are advised that several traffic changes will be in effect on Monday, November 6, to facilitate the Sagicor Life Inc. Lighting Ceremony in Heroes Square, The City.

From 3:30 to 11p.m. on that day, Broad Street from its junction with Prince William Henry Street to its junction with High Street; Trafalgar Street, High Street and Wharf Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

In addition, during that period, vehicular traffic will not be allowed to travel from Fairchild Street on to the Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge.

Parking will be strictly prohibited along St Michael’s Row, Bridge Street, River Road, Lower Bay Street, Fairchild Street, Marhill Street, Palmetto Square, Palmetto Street; High Street, Rickett Street and Roebuck Street.

 Persons are urged to follow the directions of the personnel on duty. (BGIS)
