Man charged with assaulting commissioner jailed again

The man accused of committing a number of offences against Commissioner of Police Tyrone Griffith has been remanded to prison again.

Thirty-nine-year-old Dewayne Carlo Griffith of Crab Hill, St Lucy is accused of obstructing police in the execution of duty, assaulting police in the execution of duty and resisting police in the execution of duty.

He made his second court appearance in the Holetown Magistrates Court today and was remanded to HMP Dodds until December 7.

The offences allegedly occurred on October 28 at Crab Hill. (PR/NB)
