Schoolboys remanded
The two schoolboys who were arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance which occurred at a secondary school in St Michael, on Wednesday, November 22, which resulted in 16-year-old schoolmate receiving several cutlass slashes to his right hand, appeared before Magistrate Graveney Bannister in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court today.
The 16-year-old boy was charged for the offence of wounding with intent, and was remanded to prison. He will reappear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court on December 22.
The 15-year-old boy who was charged for the offence of inflicting serious bodily harm, was remanded to the Government Industrial School (DODDS) and will return to Juvenile Court on November 29. (PR)
