NUPW to talk pay with workers next week

The National Union of Public Workers has invited all its members to a meeting to discuss a new wages and salaries accord.

It will take place on December 27 at 5 p.m. at the NUPW’s Dalkeith, St Michael headquarters.

The meeting follows talks on December 15 between the NUPW and the Ministry of the Civil Service.

A release from general secretary Roslyn Smith said workers will be informed of the two scenarios put forward by Government for a one-off payment. (PR/NB)
