Music and memories as entertainment fraternity remembers Damien

No rain  could stop the entertainment fraternity from showing up this morning to celebrate the life of their musical comrade, Damien ‘Dappa’ Taylor.

Veteran entertainer and MC Mac Fingall, dancers and musicians were among those who turned out to ‘March Fuh de Dappa’.

Though the rained poured at times they danced, sang, and made a memory from Massy Rendezvous along Rockley Golf Club road, onto Dayrell’s Road then to the Garrison Savannah.

They carried placards in tribute to Taylor and they did their best to honor Taylor, who was a member of the Ruk-A-Tuk band. The carnival like atmosphere definitely would have made him proud.

Damien passed away just over a week ago in a motorcycle accident along the Belle stretch of the ABC highway. (DB)
