No need to panic – Boyce
No more suspected gastro cases have been reported; the potable water quality is good and so is the near shore sea water quality.
As a result, said Minister of Health John Boyce, there was no need for Barbadians to panic.
“We are not saying nay to any of the experiences Barbadians or visitors to Barbados may have shared, but I feel duty- bound to bring that level of assurance to the Barbadian public that these situations are monitored,” he stressed.
Boyce was speaking at a news conference held at his constituency office at Goodland, Christ Church, yesterday afternoon.
There have been 35 cases of suspected gastroenteritis reported recently. (HLE)
