Barbados needs the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) more than ever, says Christ Church East Central Member of Parliament Ronald Jones.
He made the point while delivering remarks at a special service to celebrate the birthday of National Hero, and first prime minister of Barbados, Errol Barrow, at the Whitepark Wesleyan Holiness Church yesterday.
Among those in attendance were Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler, Minister of Sports, Youth and Culture Stephen Lashley and Minister of Health John Boyce, along with other Government officials.
Jones admitted that the country faced challenges caused by both external and internal factors, but believed Barbadians should not lose track of the development created through Barrow and his team, and carried on by subsequent DLP administrations.
He said all Barbadians had a duty to continue to fulfil Barrow’s agenda. (SDB Media)
