Stop the finger-pointing and work together for Barbados’ benefit.

Caribbean Catalyst Inc. managing director Rosalind Jackson gave that advice to the public and private sectors yesterday as her company officially launched the latest installation of its Barbados Best Employers (BBE) Programme.

The seasoned human resources practitioner said she did not think the business community was too heavily dependent on Government. Neither did she believe the public sector should merely be taken to task for whatever failings it had.

“I don’t think the private sector is too dependent on Government. What I think is they have different roles and neither the private sector nor the public sector should look at the other and blame them. They should get on with what they are supposed to do,” she said during the event at Savannah Hotel. (SC)
