Cyclist injured in accident

Police are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding an accident with injuries which occurred around 11:40 a.m. today along Spring Garden, St Michael.

It involved a car and a bicycle and resulted in injuries to 55-year-old cyclist Leon Archer of Upper Goodland, St Michael.

The car was driven by 53-year-old Police Constable Henry Thorne who is assigned to the Motor Transport Department. 

Archer complained of pain to both legs and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for medical attention. (PR/NB)
