Accused changes plea
A man who pleaded not guilty to three drug charges in 2015 had a change of heart when he appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Adrian Ricardo Redman, 41, of Medford Land, Dayrells Road, St Michael, told Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant he was guilty of possession, trafficking and intent to supply cannabis, and he was convicted remanded and discharged.
Redman had been granted $1 500 bail when the court first heard the case.
On Wednesday, Magistrate Cuffy-Sargeant placed him on a one-year bond. He will receive an automatic sentence of 12 months in prison if there are any violations. (YB)
