UPDATE: Two assisting police with drug find

Police have confirmed the discovery of cannabis at the Bridgetown Port today.

Public relations officer Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss said the Drug Squad was investigating and two Barbadian males were assisting with the investigation. 

He said 465.7 pounds of cannabis was found in a vehicle by Port authorities around 12:15 p.m.

Inniss said an update will be given in due course as this matter develops. (PR/NB)
