Barbados will be providing logistical support for the second phase of exercise Fused Response, which is being conducted in international waters over the next few days.

Defence, inter-agency and law enforcement partners from the United States will participate in the field exercise. Helicopters, cargo planes, interceptor vessels and military vehicles will be used in the training, and they are already on the ground in Barbados, at the air and sea ports.

Fused Response reflects the commitment of countries to work collaboratively with security partners in the region; strengthen longstanding ties; build capacity; and enhance inter-operability among nations. (BDF/BGIS)
