Hinkson gives students exam advice
Barbados Labour Party candidate for St James North Edmund Hinkson is advising students of Gordon Greenidge Primary to put their best foot forward ahead of their Barbados Secondary Schools Entrance Examination on Tuesday.
“There is nothing to be nervous about,” he told the 35 class four students last Friday. “No one fails this exam. You don’t judge the quality of your character by this exam. Just do the best that you can,” he said.
However he admonished them not to become a part of the violent culture that was now plaguing secondary schools across the island.
“You will not be involved in the violence and bullying that is increasing in the schools across Barbados. You will continue to develop and you will go in extracurricular activities, as it is essential to be involved in other activities other than just reading your books, as it develops your whole personality and makes you a better person,” he said.
