Incumbent Denis Kellman stoutly defended his record as Member of Parliament for St Lucy at a Democratic Labour Party meeting in Checker Hall on Thursday night.
Kellman, who spoke for about an hour reminded the small gathering that he was no stranger to the constituency and made a point to refer to families and individuals by name.
Kellman also outlined gains which he said he made in the community, including efforts in community tourism, housing developments, agriculture and fishing. (KG)
