Minister of Health and Wellness Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic is staying true to his party’s word to fix the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).
On Friday morning Bostic had his first official tour of the Accident and Emergency Department at the QEH.
During the extensive visit he spoke with a number of medical officials including A&E consultant Dr Rawle Springer, and Director of Engineering Services Paula Agbowu who explained the inner workings of the area and the challenges faced.
Following the walkthrough he held a press conference where he spoke about the upcoming multi-million-dollar expansion and the proposed 24-hour system at the Winston Scott and Randall Phillips polyclinics, which he said would help alleviate the long wait time in the department.
The expansion is also expected to improve much needed space. (TG)
