Pedestrian injured in accident

Police are looking into an accident that resulted in a 63-year-old pedestrian being injured.

It occurred yesterday about 1:50 p.m. along Vauxhall Main Road, Christ Church near Sheraton Centre.

Victor Leacock of Lower Estate, St George was crossing the road when he became involved in a collision with a car being driven by 36-year-old Anthony Babb of Kingsland Heights, Christ Church.

Leacock received injuries to his forearm and head, and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. (PR)
