Puff of Colour regrets fracas, reviewing event

Management of Puff of Colour is distancing itself from the now infamous brawl which took place on the grounds of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens after last Sunday’s event.

And while the party promoters are already reviewing the event’s production, they are also calling for partiers to keep the peace.

With a very apologetic tone earlier this morning, party spokesman Wayne Simmons remonstrated with the behaviour shown following the event which was held at the Searles Quarry in Christ Church.

“The promoters of Puff of Colour 2018 extend our deepest regret to the families of those who were affected by the lawless behaviour of a few attendees of this year’s event,” Simmons said at a press conference.

“Although the event itself was incident free, it has been brought to our attention that a deviant element emerged sometime after the production was completed.

“We do not condone the actions of those individuals who after leaving the venue, trespassed onto private property and by all reports conducted themselves in a disgraceful manner,” he continued.

Noting management was “shaken by the images circulating”, Simmons said as per usual, this year’s Puff of Colour event would be reviewed.

However, he did note great emphasis was placed on providing both public and private security services at both the venue and designated parking areas.

Additionally, Simmons said management engaged in dialogue with all stakeholders, such as Coral Ridge prior to the event to build better relationships. (AD)
