Welcome boost for Cancer Support Service

The Barbados Cancer Support Service has been gifted with $1 500 from a Britain-based philanthropist.

This morning, Erla Campbell made the presentation, on behalf of Lawrence Sinclair, to new CSS president Henderson Griffith at the society’s headquarters at Arborside, Belmont Road, St Michael.

President Henderson Griffith, who thanked Campbell for the generous donation, said the money would be put to good use as the society looks to raise its profile and that of cancer support services in the new year. (HLE)
